Correct selection of the tailings repository site is extremely important. Design generally must select multiple repository site, determine the technical and economic comparison. Looking for library site should consider the following principles:

1. Can a tailings storage capacity to accommodate all the production life of the amount of tailings. If there are difficulties, the length of service with not less than five years advisable.
