Replacing liners at the correct time reduces your costs. If you use the liners too long, you may wear through the liners entirely and begin to damage the crusher head itself, which can end up being costly. To calculate liner utilization, weigh the liners before they’re installed. Upon removal, weigh them again. Utilization percentage is calculated by subtracting the used weight from the original weight, then dividing the difference by the original weight.
