Secondary crushers mainly handle rocks of smaller particle size that have already been impacted and crushed from their original size. According to the nature of the materials to be crushed in actual production, impact crushers can be used for secondary crushing as well primary crushing. During operation, materials will be first fed into the crushing chamber for continuous and repeated impacting and crushing by large hammers. When the materials have been crushed to the proper particle size, they will finally be discharged from the lower part of the discharge opening. In general, impact crushers can be divided into two types, including horizontal shaft impact crusher , which uses hammers that swing on a rotating shaft, and vertical shaft impact crusher , which “throws” the material against a surface by means of the rock’s velocity to break it apart.

Impact crusher is developed on the basis of hammer crusher of a new type of high efficient crusher. It can be used for crushing limestone, asbestos, coal, quartz sand, calcium carbide, dolomite, sulfide ore or other materials. In the process, it can be used as a coarse and medium reduction, and it also can be used as a finely. Working Principle:
Single-stage crusher is composed with rotor, bearing, discharge grate, bearing plant, main body and the drive section. The hammer head will strongly hit the ore in the crushing chamber. The ore will be crushed because of the collision between the back liner and ore. Rude ore enters into the feeding port of the crusher through the heavy feeding equipment (apron feeder with adjustable speed). The rude ore will be primarily crushed by the hammer head. The initial crushing material will be further crushed during its movement process. After the crushing process, the crushed material will be discharged into the discharge area. The final crushing process is finished in the lower crushing chamber.
