Materials Processing is a core business segment of Liming Corporation

Processing segment is focused on machinery and services targeting the aggregates and mineral processing industries globally. The Materials Processing Division is organised primarily into three primary business lines; Power screen, which manufactures and markets mobile crushing and screening solutions. Liming Finlay, which manufactures and markets mobile crushing and screening solutions under the Liming Finlay brand and Liming Mineral Processing Systems, which manufactures a range of semi static modular and static crushing and screening solutions. Liming Materials Processing equipment is manufactured inNorthern Ireland,England,USA,Malaysia,IndiaandChina. The products are marketed globally via a network of distribution partners.

FACILITIES MANAGER (FACMGR’12)

Reporting to the Operations Director, the Facilities Manager will be responsible for the overall management and continuous improvement of the facilities and maintenance functions throughout the Liming Omagh sites. In particular this will relate to building infrastructures, roadways and services (oil, gases, and steam if applicable). He/She will be tasked with local authority planning permissions, overseeing and planning of capital installations (both plant and machinery) and associated project management.

There will be a particular emphasis on Health, Safety and Environmental legislation conformity for compressed air facilities, gantry craneage, gas storage, diesel storage and handling of hydraulic oils. Furthermore, factory fleet (both forklift and lorries) upkeep and control will form part of his/her responsibilities.The successful applicant shall preferably be educated to Degree standard in an Engineering discipline with industrial experience in a similar role or hold a minimum HND in a relevant discipline with related experience. A health and safety or environmental qualification would be desirable along with experience of government legislation and the Health & Safety at Work NI Order. A proven track record of project management and people management is essential.

INVENTORY ANALYST / STORES MANAGER

(IASMGR’12)

Reporting to the Materials Manager, this job role will have overall responsibility for the Operational, Financial and Health & Safety aspects of a large stores facility. They will ensure first class customer service through the management of all people and processes, and ensure accurate and timely inventory transactions to comply with Financial controls.Oversee daily Cycle Counting in accordance with Corporate guidelines, perform analysis and present variances to Finance. Management and completion of all relevant documentation including liaison with auditors in relation to Stores procedures and processes.

It is desirable that applicants have significant and relevant experience reporting to Senior Management gained in an operations environment. You should have a proven track record of managing teams to achieve business critical KPIs, through the use of good initiative and excellent interpersonal skills at all levels. A sound financial understanding with strong analytical skills and attention to detail is desirable in this role. Experience of ERP/MRP systems and considerable experience using Excel would be preferable. Ability to prioritise the workload and complete tasks in a timely manner to meet targets is essential. This position is based at the Liming Omagh site.

TEMP BUYER/PLANNER (Ref: BUYPLN’12)(Maternity Cover)

Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, you will be responsible for buying from both domestic and international suppliers to meet daily production demands. This will be achieved through the scheduling, ordering and expediting of parts within a JIT environment.It is envisaged that the successful candidates will be educated to a minimum of HND level or equivalent in a relevant discipline. It is desirable that candidates will have significant buying and scheduling experience preferably in a mechanical engineering environment. Previous experience with long lead time suppliers would be advantageous.

All candidates should be IT literate in MS Office, particularly Excel. Experience of working with ERP/MRP applications would be desirable. Working knowledge of Oracle would be an advantage but not essential. Candidates must be able to use their own initiative, have excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a pressurised environment to meet strict deadlines.
