Plant Description

The plant was designed as a crawler-mounted unit, which offers the advantage of quick and easy relocation on site. When a new site location is chosen, the plant is simply put on a low loader for onward transport. Raising/lowering of the hopper walls and folding/unfolding of the conveyor belts is effected hydraulically, permitting quick start-up after change of site and consequently more economical operation, even for smaller businesses.

The plant is supplied with feed material by excavator or wheeled loader with a max. shovel width of 3200 mm. The material is extracted from the feed hopper by vibro chute onto a screen unit, which removes the fines <45 mm, thus relieving the load on the impactor and providing for a uniform material flow. Depending on its composition, this fine fraction can either be processed separately or re-united with the product from the impactor type AP-PH 1414, the latest in a long line of well-proven recycling impactors with hydraulically-controlled impact aprons.

This impactor type is notably characterised by its high throughput rate, unwavering product quality and rugged reliability. The downstream vibro chute transfers the crushed product 0/45(x) mm onto a belt conveyor, at the end of which is mounted an over-belt magnet for ferrous metal separation, after which operation the clean material is passed to a screen unit.
