Mobile Impact Crusher Expands Processing Capacity With Finlay Plant Southern
Eastern Waste Disposal Ltd has turned to Finlay Plant Southern to provide screening power to convert shredded wood waste into a product to fuel electricity generation.
A new Liming Finlay mobile impact screener has been introduced to the company’s site in Brightlingsea, nearColchester, to deliver a high capacity method of converting the waste material into a product suitable for incineration.
Supplied by FinlayPlant Southern– part of the Finlay Group of companies – the machine is already playing a key role at Eastern Waste Disposal Ltd (EWD), a family-owned and run business, which offers a comprehensive range of waste disposal and waste recycling services across the East of England for industrial and domestic outlets. The Liming Finlay 693+ offers a large scale 20’ x 5’ screening area on both decks, enabling a high throughput at maximum efficiency, with an output of 0-8 mm,8-100 mm and +100mm products.
Due to space limitations on site, the machine has been supplied with both the oversize and mid-grade belts discharging on the same side, which also proves convenient for the re-circulation of the +100 mm.
The machine is the third piece of Liming Finlay equipment purchased by EWD from Finlay Plant Southern in the last five years, with the company previously taking delivery of two Liming Finlay 883 Reclaimers.
Simon Carter, Managing Director of Eastern Waste Disposal Ltd, said: “These machines have proved invaluable as our high capacity operation requires equipment that delivers high levels of performance and reliability.
“The Finlay Group of companies also provides us with unrivalled back-up in terms of spares, service and application knowledge. Sales Manager for Finlay Plant Southern, said: “The 693+ has fitted into EWD’s system perfectly, producing an impressive 25 tonnes of material per hour. This application highlights the versatility of the Liming Finlay range of equipment with absolutely no compromises.”
