So far, there are several billion ton tailings concentrated of red and brown siderite piled in the old tailings garbage, which cause a great waste to the resources.

With many years’ researching and experience, this technology has achieved success inXinjiangProvince, signing that the stupid ore like brown siderite sorting technology’s historical breakthrough with considerable economical and society benefits.

The brown siderite reserve is abundant in our country. There are nearly 10 billion ton iron oxide ore resource (mainly the hematite, siderite, limonite) in the 62.4 billion ton iron ore resource which has been founded.

But, because of the approach of the magnetized coefficient and other physical features with the main gangue quartz, the serious surface argillization, low hydrophobic property, complex formation of ore, various shape of existing makes it difficult to sort.

The tailings’ utilization starts late in China and has a far way to catch up with the international large ore sorting factory, more far away with the ore sorting institute. There are some reasons such as the ignoring of tailing’s utilization, serious neglecting of environment, backwardness, backward of technological research and production agency equipment, low ability of R & D.
