Product Training on Vertical Mill
9 o'clock of November 12th,2010, Engineer Kong from our R&D Center was invited to perform the product training on vertical mill for our employees involved in sales, marketing, workers, engineers etc. This training is a part of serial training on product knowledge.
The training was divided into three phases. First, Eng. Kong mainly detailedly introduced the vertical mill produced by our company, including the basic structure of vertical mill, vertical mill principle, parts materials of the mill, vertical mill scheme in grinding product line, service life, the production standards etc.
After the interactive Q & A discussion about the basic knowledge of the vertical mill, the training started the second stage. This time Mr. Kong specially analyzed the comprehensive performance of vertical mill on the basis of comparison of vertical mills at home and abroad markets. He introduced the development of vertical mill and the features of the main vertical mill models from domestic and foreign markets, involved in the Vertical mill produced by Loesche Company, the vertical mill produced by Smith Company and the vertical mill by china Shang Zhong Mining Co..
At last, Mr. Kong introduced the comparative advantage of the vertical mill with ball mill. The vertical mill and ball mill are both used in cement grinding and metallurgical fields, but they have distinct comparative advantages and disadvantages. Eng.Kong analyzed a series of tested data and showed: compared with the ball mill, the vertical mill could save the energy by 30%-40%, save construction area by 30%,save the building space by 50%;and its metal wear was only 1% of the ball mill, its noise was lower by 20-25 dB than ball mill; Besides, the final powder produced by vertical mill were with uniform particle size and less dust. In all, either from the device performance and environmental protection, the vertical mill has the absolute technology and development advantages.
After this training, the majority colleagues said that they had understood the vertical mill and its models in detail and more clearly realized the related technologies and market positions in domestic and foreign markets. The training layed a solid foundation for the future work and all the colleagues hope the next relevant training will come soonest.
